Programs for Healing

In addition to our original women's only program for victims of MST/PTSD IRF is proud to announce our program for all first responders (men and women: law enforcement, firefighters, veterans, medical, etc..) dealing with all causes of PTSD and addiction.

IRF22 Women's Program

Establish a spiritual foundation striving to reduce and eventually eliminate women veteran suicides through an integrated recovery program for Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and PTSD.

There are an estimated one million women victims of Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Most victims are assaulted more than once and 80% do not report their assault because of fear of retaliation. When left untreated MST has a high correlation with: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), substance abuse, family disintegration, divorce, eating disorders, homelessness and suicide. Women ages 18 -29 are 12 times more likely to attempt suicide than non-veteran women are.

First Responder Program

No professions are at greater risk to trauma than First Responders (Firefighters, LEO, EMS) and the Military. A recent study found that more firefighters and police die by suicide than in the line of duty.

And that doesn't include the far greater numbers who suffer from depression, anxiety, substance abuse, issues of violence and an assortment of other mental health challenges, directly linked to service.

Integrated Recovery(IR)/ Covenant Hills Treatment Center (CHTC) offers a multi-dimensional (spiritual, mental, emotional and physical) approach to healing. As a Christ centered treatment program we view a relationship with Jesus Christ as (an) essential for full and complete recovery. We offer Reconciliation Traumatic Therapy (RTT). We believe every trauma affects every significant member in that individual’s life and so, we also intervene at the significant other level in individual, family and group counseling. We also offer CrossFit, Yoga, equine therapy, mindfulness/meditation and various other therapeutic activities.
